1.Excavations at Hetapatti 2011, Exploration and analysis

Shri. J.N. Pal excavated the site of Hetapatti, district Allahabad, U.P. in 2010-11. This excavation confirmed the archeological sequence revealed in his earliest excavations of the same site in 2005 and 2007. This excavation revealed sequence from medieval to the Neolithic period. The analysis of the antiquities found at Tokowa was done by the author which shows the sequence from NBP to Neolithic period.

2.Excavations at Naimisharanya

D.P. Tewari describes the notices of the ancient sites of Naimisharanya, district Sitapur, U.P., in religious literature, in great details. In the excavations the cultural sequence revealed was from late period of NBP to medieval period.

3.Searching footprints of Buddha: Archaeological Investigations at Nalanda

The excavations at Rukhaegarh, Nalanda, Bihar by Dr. G.K. Lama has shown the cultural sequence from NBP to early medieval period. He has explored the area around Nalanda and discovered the large number of Buddhists, Shaiva, Shakta, Vaishnava, and Saur sculptures.

4.Coins of District Sitapur and Banda

The coins found from different places of district Sitapur namely Kesra, Pisawan, Bari, Khairabad and district Banda namely Seondha are thoroughly described by Yashwant Singh Rathore in this article.

5.Archeological Gazetteer of District Sitapur (Part-1)

Vijay Kumar has thoroughly explored the district Sitapur, U.P. This article gives the details of architectural remains, structural and sculptural fragments. In addition to this he gives the ceramic industries of different periods found at the site. He has discovered a large number of OCP sites in this area.

6.Temple remains from District Chitrakut

Rajendra Yadav has made a thorough survey of temple remains at Kumaharan-ka-Purwa, Lalai-ka-Purwa, Chhibo, Baria, Pura and Khandehwa, district Chitrakoot, U.P. On the basis of spatial location of these temples, he reconstructs socio-economic condition from 10th-12th century in this area.

Dr. Roshan Taqui describes in this article in great details, the factors responsible for deterioration in old monuments. He also describes in great details the technical process of restoring these buildings. He has done the detailed case study of Kothi Darshan Vilas.
